New weekly show

Hi everyone,

This is a update about our new Podcasts, We have done a
podcast for about 2 and half years now, but we never could
have a regular schedule. It was more or less, we would do one
when a new DVD came out. But that is all going to change now.
I myself listen to several podcasts each week, and I look forward
to when they come out, and I wanted that for our podcast as well.
So thanks to a new job with a regular schedule and some great
people to help me out, we are going to make a great weekly podcast

I'm proud to announce that I have a regular schedule now set up for
a weekly ExtinctAttractions podcast. The show will feature a former
Disneyland Tour Guide, Disney legend Bob Gurr and me, David Oneal.
Our announcer will be Brian Sommer, and each week, we will prepare
a show for you every Tuesday at 8pm pacific.

The shows will be up on iTunes by 11pm pacific every Tuesday,
perfect to listen to the next day on your way to work, school,
shopping or whenever you want.

The Podcasts are going to be more than just talking about the
latest DVDs or CDs, they are going to have weekly contests
to win prizes, a free audio download every week, tips on
Disney parks, as well as trivia, and we answer your emails
on the podcast.

The show will also feature interviews with Disney legends,
folks that work with Disney as well as everyday fans
just like you!

The best part? The podcasts are FREE, and you can
download them anytime, and listen on your mac or PC,

We have a neat email today, and I wanted to share it:

Hello Dave..... I moved from Ohio to Anaheim in
1956 and my parents bought a home behind Disneyland off 9th street.
I remember paying 60 cents for a kids general admission ticket
(we always had left over ticketsbecause all our relatives came
to our house to go to Disneyland!) my mom who is 82
still lives there. I worked for Disney for 20 years.starting
in the decorating department after college in 1981,working
for the disneystores as a designer fom 86 to 89 (working
with Leota Thomas,Madame Leota of mansion fame...she was
our figure finisher at the stores), and finishing with
Imagineering from 89 till 2001,when we adopted a baby and
I hung up my ears....I was too young to officially retire....
(no silver pass.....boo hoo)  anyway,I worked in the WDI on
site design group and worked on Small World,Storybook Land,
Toontown, and other attractions, as well as merchandise
location redos.....and I designed the animated windows
from 89 to 99 (Tarzan being my last set...............) 

I have seen Anaheim as a city go from small town to
big time ,but hovering now,as a city with many poor....
I remember the old downtown ( I went to Saint Boniface
school,which closed 2 years ago after being open from
1932) the old library,the old halloween parades and
festivals....but also Disneyland from almost the
beginning....as a resident of Anaheim and as an
employee.......I didn't start working there till I had
my illustration degree from Cal State Fullerton. I still
am closely connected to my friends at the park and WDI
,many who are still working ....I have done freelance
work for WDI ,including work for Disneyland Paris,since
leaving.....anyway,I thought i'd drop you a line after
seeing your book on Vacationland.....i lived it! my brother
and I would swim at a different motel's pool everyday in
the summer! nobody checked room keys then! we would just
sneak in....even Disneyland's pool was easy to blend in
during the early 60's!....anyway keep up the good work.
